RI President Holger Knaack

President 2020-21

March 2021

Click here to read his message.

"As someone who knows firsthand the great leadership potential of Rotaractors, I always look forward to World Rotaract Week, which we are celebrating from 8 to 14 March.

Rotaractors are the focus of all three of my presidential conferences this year, and I was proud when, two years ago, the Council on Legislation voted to elevate Rotaract by including Rotaract clubs as members of Rotary International."

A note from Simpson & Rotaract
We’re almost halfway through spring semester, with that students are looking for service in the month of March! Students are currently in Yellow Phase of Simpson College’s four phase COVID plan. To learn more about our COVID-19 plans and phases, visit https://simpson.edu/covid19-plan

Please email service.info@simpson.edu with any service or volunteer needs you have for the month of February. Service opportunities can range from one specific event, ongoing, one-time, virtual, direct service, capacity building, in person (if they follow our COVID-19 protocol), and more. We are very interested in service projects that we can do on campus for your organization  and virtual needs. Please send the following information about service opportunities and / or service projects to our service opportunity email address service.info@simpson.edu. If an in-person service opportunity does not align with our current COVID-19 Protocol, we are unable to share with our campus community.

LIVING THE 5 WAY TEST

2021 DISTRICT CONFERENCE

Join us for stories and fellowship about the ROTARY experience.  The evening starts with a social time with cash bar and time to look at project displays, followed by a meal of your choice and of course, fellowship! There will be stories, a yummy dessert auction and a quilt auction, awards and a wonderful opportunity to meet Rotarians from other clubs and HAVE SOME FUN!  This is a chance to participate in a district event that is a short time commitment, and is cost friendly.  There is also a Hybrid option to participate.  Click here to learn more and register

Thankful Brews for Stew

To date, four batches of stew have been prepared and delivered to The Helping Hand for distribution and Heal House.

Plans are underway to purchase the ingredients for one more batch in the next week or so.  Once a date is set, we will send out a message to members.

A member of the DM club visited and help package the last batch so we can officially say this is a multi-club activity.

If you wish to donate to the stew project please do so by accessing the online option at https://givebutter.com/BrewsForStew
